Opening
It hasn't been an easy way for Gackt to reach the final concert of this tour at the Yokohama Arena. The trace he had gone through was much more severe than a thorny path.

After his sudden leave from MALICE MIZER in the fall of 1998, Gackt went to U.S.A. in January 1999 and started recording as a solo artist. The work drove him into the verge of his physical and mental strength and he sometimes broke down, because the intention that he didn't want to make unsatisfied works for his fans who had lost their place by his leave and the enthusiasm of new start pushed himself to the limit. It called "the Gackt Job".

As soon as coming back from U.S.A. in April 1999 with his supporting members, he released "Mizerable" in May and "Vanilla" in August. And also, the event for fans in Hibiya Yagai Ongakudo and a live went well. However, on the other side, there were many conflicts with his former agent at that time.

Different ideas for scheduling and the music affected not only Gackt's mentality but also his supporting members, He gradually got exhausted and had to be hospitalized for a long term. Then, it made his artist life discontinued and he suddenly disappeared without leaving any trace...

Eight months later, Gackt was back to our place again.

In Feburuary'00, "Mirror" was released with strong declaration, "This is Gackt!", series of three maxi singles and his first full album, "MARS".

We could feel his strong emotion for the concert tour.

While he stopped his action since Fall'99, several remix CD's and LP's against his will were released. It was like "Clone Gackt" started to walk alone. Therefore, he had to tell everybody that "I am here. This is Gackt" before starting again.

"Mirror", the song with powerful and strong vocal, clearly had double meaning that he tend to use.

He hurried for the new start. Nobody can stop him anymore.

In February'00, three singles, "Mirror", "OASIS", "Seki-ray" were released continuously.

Why did he make such a hard release schedule?

Because he felt he couldn't wait his fan anymore.

Nobody can stop his creative mind. It's almost like a big dam collapsing.

To create "Gackt World", he was preparing for the tour starting April, 27th and making the album at the same time.

After maxi single "Seki-ray" was released, his long-awaited album "Mars" was released on April, 26th, the day before the tour.

However, all of those actions are just a prelude for Yokohama Arena on Jule, 1st.

They'd been scheduled for the last concert at the end of the century in Yokohama Arena.

Yokohama Arena was the last stage for MALICE MIZER before he left.

He must face with another part of him that still remain in the Arena and collect the soul.

Then, "New Gackt" can start to walk.

His fan know that also.

The stage in Yokohama Arema will begin...

When I lost my precious person I'd been thinking what I could do for him. 

After thinking for a long time I find that what I can do is what he couldn't do, what he wanted to do.

That is to shape his desire.

In the middle of the tour It's getting hard to see what I was looking for.

So, I flew to France.

Walking some places, there were a lot of my precious things of the past.

And I saw another myself waiting me.

Surely, the trip was for my rebirth and my requiem.

To succeed this tour I asked a large order to my staff.

Each of them, I thank them for understanding my selfishness believing me, and following me.

Gackt: "I think MASA'll come running..."

(?): "Have no time, let,s do excercise at the back stage!"

Gackt: "Hurry!"

(?): "Ok! Everybody go back to the dressing room anyway".

I fell sorry for making my fan wait for a long time.
But I thank them for beliving and following me at the same time.
What I can do for them is to say "welcome back".
'cause they are my precious family.
I've been wanted to respond to their mind.

Always people find something precious after lost something.

And people find the value of the precious things afterward.

We know we have a lot of precious things and person...

But we find them after we lost, always.

Precious person in your heart, precious person by your side...

You must be kind to them more and more.

You must be able to take good care of them more and more.
